BLEED BLUE :*

I have a never ending affair with anything that is blue or black and so this time I decided to pair up both the colours and compliment each other. BLEED BLUE! As Mumbai Indians were the winners of IPL 2K15 I have fallen for the colour blue even more!

There are certain trends that are almost reminiscent of summer. Strips, floral prints, animal patterns, denim on denim and plain colours. So this time its the plain colours with adding some accessories. Loose, plain and bold colours are trending these days as we can style up these pieces any which way we feel comfortable in. I found this blue dress while shopping at RELIANCE TRENDS, it was a great experience. As soon as I saw this piece I instantly knew that it was making its way on the blog soon.

Perfect for summer, the combination of two trusted colours blue and black. Styling up this dress was fun because I could try hell lot of stuffs that would go with this outfit. But I choose my blue and black combo because it is alot more sexier than any other combination would ever look. I paired it with some frilly bag and my black roped wedges. As my bag had golden studs fitted to it so I decided to pull up my look with heart shaped black earrings with a golden base and some rings.

DETAILS: Dress: Reliance Trends
                    Bag: Walmart (USA)
                    Footwear: Dubai Mall
                    Rings: Colaba street shopping
                    Earrings: Local shop

I thought of going with an edgy look, so for that I put my favorite red lip colour from the LAKME 9 to 5 collection, with a long winged eye linear using my ELLE 18 liquid linear. I put on some shimmer on my eyelids and blended with a black tint at its edges to make it look more sexier with my MAC MAKEUP SERIES. For a finishing touch at the end I used my BLACK EYECONIC KAJAL and here my outfit is ready! I kept my hair a bit messy or frizzy you can say. A frizzy hair -do compliments your plain look and enhances it more. You can simply get this hair done at home by just spraying up some water on your hair, tie a pony tail, roll it up and keep it for sometime. Then open it when you are ready to leave, just set your hair the way you want and ttadddaaa your frizzy hair do is ready! :P easy isn't it?

Okay, so guys see you soon with a next blogpost till then stay tuned. :*

DAILY ROUTINE!

Oh yeah! I am back with something really simple yet interesting for all the girls out there. My daily dressup routine. Many of them asked me to share my daily routine with people so here I am. Okay, so lets get started. :)

#1

Even tone.

These are the two products I use to even my skin tone.I use MAYBELLINE matte mousse on daily basis. This is the medium 1 (sandy beige) which is suitable for girls who have dusky skin tone like me. Then next is the SMASHBOX HD FOUNDATION which I prefer using only when I have to go for a party or any function. Its with SPF 15 which helps protecting my skin even in the hot sun. The shade of my foundation is LIGHT (L4). Blend the mousse or your foundation with your finger tips or a brush. Anything will do. I mainly do not apply powder after applying mousse because you really don't need it. The mousse blends perfectly and your skin tone looks even.

#2

Enhance your eyes.

So the next thing I apply is the eyeliner *_* Like woah! It changes your look. These are some of my favorite eyeliners, LOREAL PARIS LINEUR INTENSE (carbon black), LAKME ABSOLUTE SHINE LINE, ELLE 18 AND DYNAMIC liquid linear. I always go for a petal shaped eyeliner or a wing. The eye linear enhances your eyes and gives it a completely different look.

Then you can apply mascara on your eyelashes to make it look more beautiful. Apply thin mascara brush for daily use and a thick brush for parties or functions. The only brand I trust for my mascara choice is COVERGIRL. I use a navy blue shade for my lashes which mostly looks like black though. Because blue is love. :*

So last what you apply is your kajal. LAKME EYECONIC kajal is the only kajal I count on. I use the white and the black shade. The white kajal lets your eyes look lively and the black works like a beautiful border to your waterline.

#3

Lipcolour love!

Okay so now lipsticks are my favorite. They just add a finishing touch to your face and make you look stunning. I have got a wide range of lipcolours and I would love to share my colour schemes with you and hope it helps you pick out the right colour whenever you go shopping.

THE REDS.

Going from left to right, I have got these sexy shades of red with me. First is ADS fashion lipstick code A06116C, second is LOREAL PARIS RESILIENT RAISIN code 829 and the third on is COLORBAR USA PINK CHIFFON code 31M. The colorbar lipstick which has the name as pink chiffon is not exactly pink but is red with a tint of pink. Reds go on any outfit you wear.I will like to ask you not to put it on every casual outfit you own. The reason behind it is, your red lipstick is eye catching. It is meant to be a statement colour in you outfit,if your outfit is pretty vibrant and colourful .Where as in a party outfit the red compliments your look and matches perfectly. Red is meant for showing off the lip shape so always keep in mind that you should apply the lipstick on your lip line too.

THE PINKS.

I own 5 pink lip shades - From left to right it goes like first, LOREAL PARIS: TENDER BERRY code 519. Second, ARTISTRY: SWEET code 239. Third, COLOUR SURGE: PRECIOUS PINK CODE 121. Fourth, LAKME 9 TO 5: SCARLET DRILL code MR3. Fifth, LOREAL PARIS: RAMBLING ROSE 212. Pinks can be used on casuals as well as party outfits because they are pretty light and look perfectly gorgeous. You can add a tint of red to pink lip colour to make it look more sexy!

THE ABSTRACT COLORS.

So mostly girls don't like to apply abstract shades of lip colour like purple, orange or dark brown etc. I have these two colors which are quite normal for some yet weird for others. I own two colours one is orange (right side) and one is reddish maroon (left side). The orange one is of MISS ROSE code 07 and the reddish maroon is of COLORBAR: CELEBRITY code 37M. It is on you that how to go about with these shades. If you want a bold look go with a darker shade if you want a simple look just apply two strokes on you lips.

THE NUDES.

Left: COLORBAR USA: MYSTERIOUS NUDE 006.
Right: GIVENCHY: BEIGE PLUM 102.
Nudes are all time perfect shades. We can use nudes on daily basis. They blend with your lip tone and give it a more natural look than usual. Casuals and nudes are a great combination.

DESI TADKA! ;)

The Indian Showcase.

As the wedding season is up it seemed like a perfect time for me to share  some of my favorite pieces from my Indian collection with you. The collection is full of floral prints which is in demand this season. The colours, the prints and the fabrics are well suited for this jovial period. It is truly elegant and comfortable, their designs are cut out in light fabrics making them irresistible to add to your wardrobe! This season is all about show casing the elegance and richness of the Indian clothes with a punch of modern styling. I picked up my favorite pieces, to put up together two looks that fit right into this season.

LOOK #1

The Red Tints.

Here is the first look of my wedding collection. The simple white dress with the red and yellow floral fabric pieces with a combination of two layers at the bottom and a sleevless top is an elegant as well as a sexy look. While the red gives an eye catching impact to the dress the yellow highlights the beauty. Wearing my golden heels and not accessorizing my outfit too much I decided to keep it a bit simple. I wore my golden watch with heavy stone work, which was the statement piece in my outfit.

I added a small yellow hand purse to my look. Isn't it cute? The golden watch with a typical floral design looked beautiful with the outfit. If needed you can add up a bindi on your head with stones and studs in it to give it a rich look. I kept my makeup a bit glossy and used a tint of red on my cheek bones to highlight my face. I put my petal shaped linear on my eye and gave it a finishing touch with my LAKME EYECONIC kajal. Applied blood red lipstick and here I am ready for a reception ceremony or a sangeet.

DETAILS: Dress: BIBA
                                                                                 Heels: Catwalk
                                                                                 Purse: Thailand Airport
                                                                                 Watch: Titan Designer
                                                                                 Lipcolour : Maybelline
                                                                                 Bindi: Local shop

LOOK #2

The Blue Tints.

This suit is the perfect example of traditional dressing. The second colour which is one of the most important colours in your traditional collection is the 'BLUE'. Pairing up blue with golden designs and small floral prints on the dupatta gives it a royal look. This outfit is the perfect one for a wedding. Full sleeves trend is now back with a modification in their patterns. Navy blue background with light blue fabric pieces highlights the anarkali even more. I decided to play up with this piece by adding statement earrings in a contrasting turquoise shade and using my neck piece as a head set to the bun.

I decided to go for a bun as it let my dress do its work by showcasing its design. It is a donut bun which you can easily do it at home and there is no need for you to go to the hair dresser for your hairdo. Kept the same petal linear on my eyes and just added a maroon lipcolour for a greater highlight to my face. Golden tint on my cheek bones were looking perfect.

DETAILS: Dress: Got it stiched
                                                                          Accessories: Local shop
                                                                          Lipcolour: VOV

India being such a culturally diverse country, has so many different traditional facets. Now summing up your look with the duppatta and here you are ready for a wedding. I hope you guys enjoyed my take on Indian wear.

Vacation styling!

Summer-spring break 2k15!

Okay! So here is something really different on the blog this time. Its like a STYLE AND TRAVEL post. As all of you guys know I had been to Coorg also known as Kodagu, is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometres in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka. The destination which I visited was Madikeri.
As you all know summers up and we have been waiting for a much needed summer break, here is what I am sharing with you guys, my Coorg holiday experience.

DAY 1

Airport scenes.

Now starting with my travel scenes, I decided to wear a simple denim shirt and my favorite navy blue jeans pairing it with my nude boots. Keep your clothes simple yet sexy while traveling. As it was the air journey it was not that tiring. Do not accessorize your outfit much while traveling. Simpler the outfit easier to carry!
I just added up my blue tinted glares on this outfit which was the statement piece in my travel wear.

DAY 2

A day relaxing.

I opted for a striped top in pink and white combination. It was pretty af! *-* I paired up my top with a pair of white jeans and my pink footwear. I kept my make up simple and applied a light pink tinted lip colour. Accessorizing my look with these shades complete my outfit of the day :)

Spa *_* was the most relaxing thing I experienced there. Peaceful place and a slow music with that relaxing session was heaven. The ambiance and the hospitality there was excellent. This is what we call a perfect beginning to your holiday!

                        Jeans: ONLY
                        Footwear: Colaba
                        Watch: Fastrack
                        Glares: Bandra

DAY 3

Nature Walks!

Many of them love nature. So do I. Like yes, I wasn't too much attached to nature, but I am sure even a person who is not interested in nature will start loving it. My love for nature also grew because of my friend Riyansh Shah who is crazy about birds. Coming to the nature in Coorg, the most beautiful place I visited was the DUBARE ELEPHANT CAMP. Oh my god, this place was so much fun. We walked in the river and crossed it, did elephant bathing, drank coconut water which is the speciality of southern India, did river rafting and clicked hell lot of pictures.

Yeah so what I wore the other day, I opted for my hot shorts with a very funky pattern in white and navy blue patches. Contrast to these pants I wore my plain white top with silver shimmer studs attached to its sleevs which give it cute look.
I kept my hair tied up so that my designer top could be visible. I went on for a light pink lipstick so that I do not look over dressed.

        DETAILS: Top: OMG
                           Shorts: Shoppers Stop
                           Glares: Bandra
                           Watch: Fastrack

DAY 4

Last day in Coorg!

Lol, that peace sign is my favorite and I am too obsessed with it. :p So, it was my last day in coorg and I was pretty much sure I am going to miss this place very badly. Now, as you can see in the picture, my outfit of the day quite funky and tangy. I went for a top with red lips and the UK flag printed on it. This time I opted for my trusted pair of comfy black leggings. They are easy to carry and look good on girls with plumy thighs. I wore my silver footwear with my outfit and added up my all time favorite red shade of lipstick. These squared shades complimented my look
DETAILS: Top: Bandra
                                         Glares: New york shopping
                           Footwear: Bandra
                        Pants: Local shop

We enjoyed our last day spending time in the coffee lounge trying different types of coffee flavors. This was one of the most beautiful place I had ever seen till date and I am pretty sure you guys will also love to visit this destination. The next day we left of Mumbai and I was already missing this place.
Summing up my blog post with a simple tip; You can always look sexy when you carry your outfit properly. Its you attitude and stance which helps you to look prettier than any dress up you do. So as I say don't just do fashion, baby Be Fashion! :*
