Pastels are taking over the wedding wardrobes and what's more better than experimenting with them? I have paired a beautiful mint green lehenga with an intricate golden floral jaal work blouse having layered sleeves from Yogita Kadam's recent collection 'TRIVAAH'.

Whites and greens work really well together and give a very pleasing look. Best for a summer beach side wedding or a outdoor sundowner sangeet ceremony, this outfit is a soothing sight to see. Not accessorising it much I just added on a pair of white roses to my soft curls and we are good to go.

Thanks you so much for visitng in and reading my blog. Hope you all liked it. Will be back with another post soon!

The Festive Edit (Part 2)

The Festive Edit with Label Yogita Kadam

Hello All! Hope you all are doing good. I am back with the second part of the series with designer Yogita Kadam. Festive season demands for us to be dressy for various occasions and while you are shopping for your outfits be mindful of where you are investing your money into whether it's the jewellery or the clothes. Try buying outfits like Anarkalis, long flowy dresses in bold or subtle colours that can be easily paired with any kind of heavy dupattas or jackets which will last long through many seasons and can be repeated with variations.

Here, I have opted for a beautiful heavy embroidered Anarkali which is one of Yogita's most subtle designs from her collection. Adding to it I went with a contrast coral dupatta to give the white ensemble a pop of colour. Floral embroidery plays a vital role during the festive season becasue no one can go wrong with it plus it's the most safest option for all who aren't much into experimenting. An ideal pair of diamond danglers, curled hair and a bright lip colour is all that you need to pair along with this flowy outfit. And here you are good to go for those Diwali parties or house warming ceremonies.

The Bridesmaid Edit (Part 1)

The Bridesmaid Edit with Label Yogita Kadam

Hello all! I am back with yet another post and this time I will be targeting on some special occasion wear for the upcoming wedding season. I have created these looks in collaboration with a Bandra based designer named 'Yogita Kadam'.This series is divided into three parts for detailed information, so let's see what we have for today.

Yogita Kadam specializes in wild flowy drapes, trendy cuts and asymmetrical silhouettes. Her designs cater to all the occasions be it a pre-wedding party, festivals or a family function. These pieces are real reflection of her 'minimalistic' style with a great influence of art of Zardozi on them. Aiming to style the trend oriented ladies, she has created a wide range of Indian Fusion wear.

I chose this navy blue outfit from her recent collection 'Trivaah'. This beautiful ensemble is apt for all the pre-wedding functions like- Mehendi, Roka or Sangeet etc or it can also be worn to the Diwali parties that we conduct with our friends and family. The best part about this dress is the flowy fabric that falls perfectly on my body and also how it compliments by skin and body type. To style this look I have just paired it with my statement earrings and heels.

Get Brunch Ready!

Get Brunch Ready!

Hey Guys! Welcome back to my blog. Having a girl gang brunch meet? Or all your work collegues want to catch up? We all have been in this situation where an impromptu outing pops up and we are clueless about what to wear! Not to worry, here is a small #OUTFITINSPO for all.

Photography by: Pranit Shinde
Makeup and Hair: Neha Gaikwad

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Dress: Lifestyle Stores
Bag: H&M
Heels: H&M
Glares: Colaba Causeway

So, I grabbed a shirt dress that was lying in my wardrobe since ages because honestly I thought that the silhouette was too outdated. I thought to give it a try once again and keep it very basic. I styled it with my my formal sling bag, my trusted pair of heels and my vintage sunglasses with a messy hair-do. As vintage fashion is coming back, keeping it simple I realized that every outdated style can be revived and styled differently as per our convenience. Here are a few pictures for your reference.

Coming to the end, Hope this post was helpful and would like to re-create it. Do let me know if you would like to see something specific :)
