Classy in Black!

Classy in Black!

Captured by Pranit Shinde

Hey all! Hope you all are doing safe and well. I am back yet another post for some work wear inspiration. I have always been a huge fan of an all black ensemble and think that it completely does justice to the whole work wear concept. I have curated one such look this time which has a beautiful amalgamation of a stylish silhouette, basic formal blazer and a trendy footwear!

I try and experiment as much as possible when it comes to formal dressing. A lot of you think that work wear is boring and lifeless but let me burst the bubble for you, You can look edgy yet classy when you play with different silhouettes and introduce new styles in your basic work wear wardrobe. Try and hunt for dresses with various prints, can be basic (Polka, Stripes, geometric shapes) or as unique as possible (bold floral prints, neon colours, animal prints etc.) A basic black blazer is a must have in every girl's wardrobe it will help you pull your look together and please the sight. For the footwear you can either style this look with a basic pair of black stilettoes or the ones like I have worn. Accessorize this look minimally by opting for a statement silver watch, a ring, cat eye glasses and here, you are good to go!

Dress: Westside
Blazer: H&m

Hope you like this look and can re-create this in the near future!
I will be back soon with another outfit inspiration, Till then Stay Happy, Stay Stylish.

Colour Block In Style

Colour Block In Style

Captured by Pranit Shinde

Blazers are a statement and gives our outfit an extra edge that speaks for itself. We all have always wondered how to include a bright red blazer in our work wear wardrobe. Also, a lot of us think that the blazers only are under use in the winters but the reality is they can be styled wisely in the right way every season. Let's jump into the blog and check how we can apply a colour blocking technique for your formal styling.

For the perfect colour blocking combination try merging the two variants of colours together creating a pleasing sight for the eye. Pick out either colours way apart or of two different shades of the same hue. So here I have used my pleated skirt that is in dark navy blue colour with Red in some common areas which will compliment the blazer as well.

I have used it as a dress with a long single breasted Red blazer on it. You can pull up your skirt up to your desired chest length and secure it with safety pins on your lingerie if necessary. I have kept the styling quite easy, paired up my trusted pair of black heels with golden detailing that matches the blazer buttons to even out the look & topping it off with an oversized vintage sunglasses set to give it an edge. And voila you're good to go!
