For that one sunny day a perfect printed shift dress is all what you need. A flowy oversized garment with an attractive colour combines well. Shop this outfit here: https://shaye.co.in/women/dresses/tamara-swing-dress.html

You can alternate your style by wearing white sneakers with a funky fanny pack too or trying to go vintage with a bow head band, lace sandals and a sling bag. You can also style this outfit with brown or tan thigh high boots which will add a little edge to your look. Another way that you can style this piece is by wearing a contrast leggings or churidaar underneath, some oxidized jewelry (earrings, choker neckpiece & finger rings) and juttis making it look all ethnic! Interesting right? How a simple swing  dress can do a two in one magic.

It was so much fun to create content with Shaye. Hope you guys liked the looks I curated and would want to create your own too. I will be back soon with another series of outfit inspirations for you all. Till then Stay tune, Stay Happy & Stay Stylish.

Welcome back on my page! Summer is just around the corner that means it's time for us to wear all these cute summer dresses. I have always loved the summers for all the right reasons, the bright colours, chilled drinks, ice-creams, light hair and of course the summer vacations. Just took me right back to my childhood. As I mentioned in my last blog post Shaye has the most trendy set of clothes for every occasion, So here I have curated a Bohemian inspired look for a nice brunch date with your friends & family with their Zandra dress. It's a gorgeous shade of green with a really pretty embroidered V-Neck & balloon sleeves. An easy breezy fit best for our summer outings!

I styled this look with a handcrafted cane bag, tasseled platform flip flops, hoop earrings topping it off  with my grandfathers square rimmed vintage sunglasses. For the final Boho touch, I opted to braid my hair which gives me some serious summery vibes already! This outfit idea is a perfect amalgamation of comfort and class. You can shop this dress right here https://shaye.co.in/zandra-dress.html

I had super fun curating this look and shooting for this blog, Hope you all find it useful and will re-create it some day. I will be posting my last look with Shaye super soon so watch this space for more.

Shaye is a brand that caters to all your needs, Be it casual, party or formal occasion wear. They have a wide range of versatile outfits and I am sure you guys would want to give it a shot! Shop their lastest collection 'Drop of Joy' here www.shaye.co.in

Nothing can beat the richness of a little black dress and this one from Shaye has my complete heart. As valentines day is nearing and opting for a Red will be too overrated instead in my personal opinion a LBD would make a right choice for that perfect date night! Accessorize this look minimally by adding a pair of statement earrings or a pearl bracelet which I opted for. Throw on a contrast colour footwear preferably heels or wedges to give a little edge to the look. Play with your eyes by doing a nice blush pink eyeshadow, winged linear, wavy laid down hair and you are good to go!

Will be back with two more looks with Shaye in the coming week, Till then stay tuned! Hope you liked this post, Until next time.. Stay Happy, Stay Stylish!

Classy in Black!

Classy in Black!

Hey all! Hope you all are doing safe and well. I am back yet another post for some work wear inspiration. I have always been a huge fan of an all black ensemble and think that it completely does justice to the whole work wear concept. I have curated one such look this time which has a beautiful amalgamation of a stylish silhouette, basic formal blazer and a trendy footwear!

I try and experiment as much as possible when it comes to formal dressing. A lot of you think that work wear is boring and lifeless but let me burst the bubble for you, You can look edgy yet classy when you play with different silhouettes and introduce new styles in your basic work wear wardrobe. Try and hunt for dresses with various prints, can be basic (Polka, Stripes, geometric shapes) or as unique as possible (bold floral prints, neon colours, animal prints etc.) A basic black blazer is a must have in every girl's wardrobe it will help you pull your look together and please the sight. For the footwear you can either style this look with a basic pair of black stilettoes or the ones like I have worn. Accessorize this look minimally by opting for a statement silver watch, a ring, cat eye glasses and here, you are good to go!

Colour Block In Style

Colour Block In Style

Blazers are a statement and gives our outfit an extra edge that speaks for itself. We all have always wondered how to include a bright red blazer in our work wear wardrobe. Also, a lot of us think that the blazers only are under use in the winters but the reality is they can be styled wisely in the right way every season. Let's jump into the blog and check how we can apply a colour blocking technique for your formal styling.

For the perfect colour blocking combination try merging the two variants of colours together creating a pleasing sight for the eye. Pick out either colours way apart or of two different shades of the same hue. So here I have used my pleated skirt that is in dark navy blue colour with Red in some common areas which will compliment the blazer as well.

I have used it as a dress with a long single breasted Red blazer on it. You can pull up your skirt up to your desired chest length and secure it with safety pins on your lingerie if necessary. I have kept the styling quite easy, paired up my trusted pair of black heels with golden detailing that matches the blazer buttons to even out the look & topping it off with an oversized vintage sunglasses set to give it an edge. And voila you're good to go!

Skirt: Splash
Blazer: Local Shop

The Little Blue Dress

The Little Blue Dress

Captured by Pranit Shinde

Hello All! Hope you all are safe & healthy. The surprise showers has turned the weather chilly & super pleasant. Feels as if mother nature is try to heal all of us from the 2020 sadness & tough times. So, sitting by the window I thought of writing a new blog post talking about a wardrobe essential for all of us, a LBD and this time it is not a black dress but 'A Little Blue Dress'.

As we all know that the entire lockdown we all waited to dress up and show up to work. We kind of  missed posting our daily #ootds on our Instagram. Never the less this Covid situation made me shop a lot online. Tracking down a few looks for my daily office wear I came across this really pretty blue dress that I feel fights perfectly for various occasions, be it work, a casual brunch date or a dinner with friends. Blue is a colour that goes well with each surrounding, but picking up the right shade of blue is very important in which royal blue & navy blue being the best choices. Also, tiny prints & a basic minimal silhouette makes it a great pair.

Dresses like these can go from morning to night with a few changes in the accessorizing front. For example, You can style this dress with a contrast solid colour footwear. I chose to style it with my trusted pair of red block heels (apt for an office look or a party look) and my black work glasses, that go well while dressing formally. For a brunch date, Add a nice sling bag and throw on a trendy pair of sunglasses and you are good to go. Going dancing on a Saturday night? Style this dress with a tan belt, platform heels and large golden hoop earrings.

Heels: H&M
Dress: Lifestyle Stores

Hope you liked this simple yet chic look & will re-create it in future. I will be back with more such posts so keep watching this space. Also, don't forget to stay happy & stay stylish!

The Informal Official

Hello Readers! It feels super amazing to get back to writing and creating looks. I hope you all are safe and healthy. This year has been pretty difficult for all of us, not only financially but emotionally too. But seeing to the positive side of this pandemic I feel we all just needed this big break to reset and unwind ourselves from the hectic race of life. I am glad to have shared some real quality time with my family, staying indoor cooking and watching tons of Netflix. Also, experienced Covid-19 myself so I can proudly call myself a Corona warrior. But now it's time to get back to working and a new normal with the not so loved masks! :p So, let's jump into the post and see what I have for you this time.

A lot of people feel that formal wear is too boring but I feel it's all about the experimenting that makes it fun. Playing with colours, textures and styles can amp up your look completely. The power of dressing is basically a reflection of your own self at the highest point. Blazers are famous for giving a particular outfit an edge and can be worn in all seasons keeping the colour palette in mind, they are also a major wardrobe staple. One should have at least 4-5 different varieties of blazers in their formal wardrobe setup if they deal with an industry like mine or even a corporate one.

Coming to the look I created, I wanted to do an unusual blazer keeping the look more playful so I opted for a printed white tee and my trusted pair of blue bell bottom jeans. The classic combination of a blazer over a jeans makes it a perfect attire that fits in for an informal event, a semi-corporate party or a meeting too. While picking this blazer what caught my eye was the wonderfully done gradation in blue hues with squares that make the blazer look formal yet stylish. For my footwear I wore my favorite closed pointed heels which give a sense of authority, heels and bell bottoms always go hand in hand as it elongates the look. Go for a silver watch with a statement dial to accessorize.

Blazer: Project Eve
Jeans: Coverstory
Heels: AJIO
Tee: Myntra
Watch: Fossil

Hope you all liked the post and will be trying to experiment with your formals and take it from boring to stylish. Stay tuned for more such posts coming your way.
Till then as I always say stay happy, stay stylish!
