Working With Concepts!

Hello Girls! Firstly, Wish you all a very Happy Monsoon <3 In case you are thinking why I wished you, it's just a glimpse of my love for this super romantic season. Secondly, this post is not exactly a blog-post that I have been doing since a long time but is a 'Conceptional Post'.

What is a Conceptional Picture? It is a picture that expresses a lot and just not the words. It is based on a concept which gives out a beautiful meaning to the viewers. It is an immense effort of the model, photographer, stylist and the make-up artist all together in one picture. So our concept for this series was:

"FASHION IS NOT JUST TO IMPRESS BUT TO EXPRESS!"

Viraj and Kinjal are friends yet partners in work and have an amazing talent which they show case from their work. The way they work is full fun and yet they are dedicated with their jobs. I personally call them 'Jugadu' because my experience while working with them was crazy! And yes, I guess you all should go through their Instagram pages which I will be putting up at the end of this blog-post. :') Hope you guys love their work 'cause I did and yes, A biiiiggggg thumbs up to them!

Coming to the beautiful make-up I have put on for my entire shoot was done by Simran who is an engineering student yet has a passion for this fabulous art! Even though this was the first time she tried out make-up on someone else it looked flawless and she did a super awesome job. She did this smokey eye look which was perfect for both my looks and did justice to the pictures!

YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS!

Hello girls! I am back with a new post today and its is all about dressing simple yet looking hot! There is this online store called 'E-VOUGE' which makes customized tee-shirts for all you pretty ladies. You can follow them on instagram as well. Check out my instagram @kshitija_fashionspectrum as I will be tagging them on my posts and it will be easier for you guys to find some cool stuff out there.

So, You must be having this concept of styling a customized tee with you trusted pair of blue or black denims but this time lets make it a bit more stylish! Here, I have worn my old white midi with my tee on the above. I have folded my tee such that it looks I have tucked my tee-shirt inside a plain white skirt. You can also use a mini skirt, hot shorts and palazzo pants to pair up with your tee!

Accessorizing the look in the right way is a must, so to give a hot chick look I went with my white bordered sunglasses and white base box heels. Have a look at the complete outfit:

Gala celebration!

Hello girls! So it has been a hectic week for me and finally I get time to do one of my favorite things in my list, writing up my new blog post!!

 So, there comes a time when in this scotching heat and rising temperature you so badly want to go for ball room party, prom or any kind of Gala Celebrations but then you strike out the plans due to such irritating weather. So what do we do? How do we style ourselves so that we don't feel irritated with clothing, the weather or the sweaty feel. Some thing that is flowy, soft, comfortable and gives us maximum satisfaction of looking the best!

For this post I collaborated with the beautiful blogger friend of mine Shreya Chanana and will be showing you guys two of our best looks that we opted for such situation.

We decided to go a big ball room way for which I opted for a magenta pink gown with a center slit and a deep neck line. On the other hand Shreya went up for a transparent chick look with intense patterns on her dress. We both are wearing different material choosing it for this hot season.

Both the dresses are flowy, comfy and give you a confidence to walk up with people turning their heads. 

WHAT I WORE:

I styled this plain pink slit gown with the golden based accessories and my heels. Rather than accessorizing it too much I focused on my rustic golden makeup and letting the dress be in the limelight.

Summer Chills!

Good afternoon all! It's 2.30 according to my watch and this heat is just so irritating! Going out for shoots or any other work in such scotching heat is not a good idea though! But all you can do is dress according to your comfort and head outside. 

Some girls are not so comfortable wearing shorts, skirts, tank or tube tops etc. So what do we do? Here is a very simple yet chick look which I have worn many a times while my outings and many of you have seen it! But for my other readers I thought of giving it a shot on my blog too!

Okay! So you guys must be thinking that how am I saying that this outfit is a good choice for summer? It's long, covered and a dark colour as well. 

Let me explain you, It is long for girls who wear shorts but for girls who don't this is perfect for them. It is comfortable and flowing. Heard of skin tans? It is suggested to cover up your body in summer because 1) The sun tan looks horrible 2) Sun rays can be harmful for our skin as per suggested by doctors. Sunscreens do a great job but not for a longer time though. And now coming towards the colour scheme, yes dark colours do absorb heat but the material is what plays the real game. While choosing your outfit make sure your material is suitable for the weather!

'Peachy Much!' Get Easter Ready ^_^

So this weekend brings us a great reason to celebrate :D And on this positive note I am putting up my next blog post.. 'PEACHY MUCH!' 

What's more prettier than a cute peach midi-dress and black heels? There are so many ways to style this midi-dress and flaunt it! I have kept my outfit simple by styling my dress with a black neck choker, Red sole black heels and a sling which I used as a purse after removing it's chain. 

Keeping my hair frizzy, applying the blood red lip shade with a winged eyeliner, this is how I completed my look!

COCKTAIL PARTY LOOK

(PART 4)

Hello everyone! I am back with the cocktail look of the wedding series I having been doing for quite a while. With me I have my model friend Raveena Tak who has collaborated with me this post. 

What a cocktail look should be like? No super extra accessories, just a pretty party look with some confidence to carry your outfit. Gowns or short dresses can be the best choice for this event ;)

Okay! So you guys must be wondering why I wore a tube top gown when I don't have a perfect body? It's not about the perfect body, its about the perfect confidence you show in yourself to carry anything and everything with elegance. Dare to be you, no one will ever question your personality/ how you look. To share a small secret with you, I was very nervous while getting clicked with this dress but as time passed and Raveena kept motivating me saying that I was looking pretty with this dress, I ended up being very confident and completed my shoot. Never underestimate yourself :D

Coming to the dress, I am totally in love with this fish tail red gown from Blinge Fashion. Beautiful isn't it? Styled Raveena with a heart shaped neck piece and nude heels with this black slit gown. Keeping a statement neck piece, I added small earrings with them and my trusted pair of black heels to complete my look!
